The bookstore continues to be a very busy place! Have you browsed among the shelves lately? Check for new specials each week.
The Members Only ½ Price Sale was successful and the Friends of the Library have several new members. Boxes of books went out the door! The Bookstore Committee plans to make this sale an annual event because it increased membership and moved inventory.
Numerous donations in memory of loved ones have been received by the Friends of the Library. This money is used to establish scholarships that will be awarded to high school seniors planning to attend college. The FOL Board will contact the teacher about these funds and students can apply for a scholarship.
The March Silent Auction is on display in the bookstore. The large books include Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Rembrandt and Russell. Check out the shells book as well as books on photography, The Beatles, Narnia Anthology and Lecia – the most famous camera in the world. This Silent Auction closes on Saturday, March 29th at 12:00 noon.
The Bookstore Committee thanks everyone who donates their “gently used” books. These donations are marketed in several ways to earn money for our San Clemente Library. Are you an FOL member? Please choose among the several levels of membership and support our library. See you at the bookstore!
